A 28-year-old Saskatoon man has been charged in connection with the shooting death of a 22-year-old man from the Bridge City on the Beardy’s and Okemasis’ Cree Nation.
Robbie Cameron was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree murder in the death of Cody Tait. Cameron appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Wednesday.
The RCMP said it believes there are additional suspects.
In a release, the Mounties said officers from the Rosthern detachment got a call Sunday just before 6 p.m., about the shooting.
Officers found an injured man on a road in the community. They tried lifesaving efforts, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
