Threat sends Warman High School into lockdown

The Warman High School was placed in lockdown Tuesday afternoon after a threat was made toward the school.

The Warman RCMP was told at 2:25 p.m., about the threat. Officers immediately went to the school and conducted a thorough search of the building and surrounding area, but didn’t find anything.

The school was locked down during the investigation, but reopened after officers determined the threat wasn’t real.

The Mounties are continuing to investigate.
