10:00 – We are paying more to put food on the table these days. Canada’s inflation rate reached 4.7 per cent in October, the fastest rate increase in almost 19 years. Food inflation for the month stood at 3.8 per cent. Sylvain Charlebois, professor of food distribution and policy and the director of the Agri-Food Analytics Lab at Dalhousie University joins Mike to talk about the rise in food prices and what contributing to the added expense.
