Starting today masking is once again mandatory in indoor public spaces, and a vaccine passport system will be in place Oct. 1, limiting access for the unvaccinated. 9:00 – Pollster and analyst Philippe Fournier’s latest projection has Trudeau and the Liberal Party in front of O’Toole’s Conservatives by less than a point, meaning Monday’s election is likely to be close. Fournier analyzed each seat and found the Conservatives have 74 safe seats compared to the Liberals’ 64, but about 65 seats across the country are considered toss-ups. Fournier joins Gormley to share his latest analysis as we get ready to head to the polls.
