The RCMP says it has found a woman who allegedly had been abducted by two other women.
On Wednesday, another woman told police she had been kidnapped in Meadow Lake and subsequently released in a rural area. The woman said there was another female with the two suspects who also was being held against her will.
Later Wednesday, the RCMP reported that female had been found in Grande Prairie, Alta. She was suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
One of the cars police say was involved — a black Kia — also was found in Grande Prairie.
The Mounties are still searching for the two suspects and another car, a white two-door 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier with Saskatchewan licence plate 625 LSY.
The first suspect is described as being about 5-foot-5 with a small to average build, blonde hair and an eyebrow ring. The second suspect was said to be approximately 5-foot-5 with a small to average build, brown hair and an eyebrow ring.
Anyone who sees the car or the suspects is advised not to approach them, but to call 9-1-1 instead.
