A man serving just over two and a half years has died at the Prince Albert Penitentiary.
According to a release Monday from Correctional Service Canada, Raymond Crookedneck died in custody Sunday.
His sentence was two years and seven months long, and he began the sentence on July 25, 2019. His charges included impaired driving, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failure to attend court and failing to comply with conditions.
The inmate’s next of kin has been notified, and Correctional Service Canada is reviewing the circumstances of Crookedneck’s death.
