8:30 – Saskatchewan Health Minister Paul Merriman joins guest host Mike Couros to discuss the latest in the province’s fight against COVID-19 and the plan for vaccine distribution this summer. Will residents who mixed and matched with AstraZeneca be getting a third shot and when can we expect vaccines for those five years and older? Merriman said Monday a decision on vaccines for kids under 12 should be coming from Ottawa in the next few weeks.

11:00 – An arbitration decision in Quebec recently ruled that a funeral home chain can’t ban employees from having visible tattoos or piercings, following a similar decision from May regarding Air Canada’s cabin crews. The arbitrator said the employer had “concerns from another era” and emphasized that rules on dress and body image must evolve with our times. Do we still judge people with piercings and tattoos? Have you ever lost an opportunity or felt yourself judged because of your body art? Call 1-877-332-8255 and let us know!
12:00 – Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan is back and performing in front of live audiences for the first time since COVID. The cast of Macbeth took the stage for their first live show in front of people on July 23 and they did it on their brand-new, $6 million theatre on the riverbank of the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon. Macbeth runs until August 22. Will Brooks, Artistic Producer, joins Mike to talk about what it’s like to be like on the stage again and what we can expect when we take in a show this summer.
