8:30 – In-school vaccinations are starting Monday in Regina, which will see all children aged 12 and over eligible for the Pfizer shot. Students 13 years and older can give mature minor consent to be vaccinated in schools, and the in-school program could open up other vaccine appointments for seniors. 12:00 – An anti-farming sign outside a school in Outlook raised some eyebrows and quite a bit of ire this week, with many questioning whether students in Saskatchewan know enough about agriculture and where their food comes from. YouTube and social media personality Quick Dick McDick has done a lot for agriculture education through his videos, many of which are specifically directed towards a younger audience, and has recently started doing talks in schools as well. McDick joins Gormley to discuss the importance of ag-based education and how to get young people more excited about agriculture.
