650 CKOM and 980 CJME have been recognized with two prestigious Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) Prairie Region awards.
650 CKOM won for Breaking News Coverage of another train derailment east of Saskatoon a year ago. Gerald Bauman anchored comprehensive coverage with reporters on the scene and eye-witnesses on air.
980 CJME won for Best Radio Newscast, for coverage the morning after the Saskatchewan election last fall.
