The Saskatchewan government has announced just one loss of public money for the fourth quarter of the 2020-21 fiscal year.
In a media release Monday, the government said a Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority employee at a Regina liquor store took $1,695.73 between Dec. 22 and Jan. 29.
According to the release, the employee is dead and “recovery of funds will not proceed.”
There weren’t any losses reported by the Crown Investments Corporation, by Saskatchewan health organizations — including the Saskatchewan Health Authority, Athabasca Health Authority and Saskatchewan Cancer Agency — or by Saskatchewan Polytechnic or any regional colleges between Jan. 1 and March 31.
