8:30 – Premier Scott Moe announced some significant changes to its vaccine delivery plan Tuesday, including lowering the age eligibility for the AstraZeneca vaccine to 40 and making higher-risk groups like first-responders, teachers, and correctional staff. 12:00 – Plans are underway for a memorial statue of Fred Sasakamoose at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, after the Saskatchewan hockey legend and first treaty-status NHL player lost his life to COVID-19 in November. On Monday, the government of Saskatchewan announced May 18, 2021 will be proclaimed “Fred Sasakamoose Day” in Saskatchewan.
