9:00 – Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole raised the ire of many right-leaning Canadians Thursday when he introduced his party’s climate change plan. The Conservative plan still puts a price on carbon emissions, but rather than a tax and rebates as proposed by the Liberals, the CPC plan would see consumers fuel payments stored in a personal savings account that can later be used for green purchases such as home upgrades or electric vehicles. O’Toole joins Gormley to tell us more.

Boyko joins Gormley to tell us about ‘The Devil’s Trick: How Canada Fought the Vietnam War,’ which follows the stories of six individuals involved in the conflict in roles ranging from the battlefield to diplomatic channels to providing haven for those fleeing the fighting.
