10:30 – Air Canada is getting a multi-billion-dollar relief package from the federal government, but the money comes with some strings attached including a 6% stake for the feds and a requirement that customers get refunds if COVID-19 canceled their flights. Aviation expert Karl Moore has said federal funding was the only option, and the deal appears to be a good one. Moore says it will be at least two years before the airline industry resembles the time before the pandemic, and he expects WestJet will be next in line for federal support. Moore joins Gormley to tell us more about what the bailout means for Air Canada.
