A new program from SaskPower aims to help low-income households reduce their utility bills.
The Energy Assistance Program involves assessing homes for efficiencies and installing free upgrades, including smart appliances, energy-saving lightbulbs or even a rack to dry laundry.

The program is available to SaskPower customers whether they are homeowners or renters.
Funding came in part from the federal government through its Low Carbon Economy Fund.
The program runs until March 31, 2023 or until funding has been spent.
Home energy advisers will work according to COVID-19 guidelines.
