After having to cancel this year’s event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizers of the SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival say they have set dates for next summer.
In a release, festival artistic director Kevin Tobin says the 2021 festival has been scheduled for July 9-18.
“Despite so many challenges for events and festivals including the postponement of the 2020 SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, we are happy to share some great news for 2021,” said Tobin. “Although 2021 seems like a long time away, we remain optimistic that our collective efforts will launch another world-class festival for the people of Saskatoon and Saskatchewan.”
The 2020 event was to have taken place July 3-12, but it was postponed on April 17 due to the nationwide uncertainty over the coronavirus pandemic, the release said.
