Saskatoon police have located the caregiver of a child found by staff at a north end restaurant Tuesday.
Shortly before 5:00 a.m. officers were called to the Tim Horton’s on Primrose Drive where a child showed up alone and in distress.
Police say the boy, between 6 and 8 years old, didn’t speak and was cognitively delayed.
Saskatoon police have confirmed that the boy had gone missing from a home in the 300 block of Thain Crescent, which is about 1.5 kilometres from the Tim Hortons.
650 CKOM has learned it is a group home in the Silverwood Heights area.
The operator of the group home did not provide any comments on the incident.
The Saskatoon Police Service along with Mobile Crisis would like to thank the Media and Public for their assistance.
