A commercial shop in the municipality of Vanscoy was destroyed after it was hit by fire early Thursday.
The Saskatoon Fire Department was dispatched about 1:45 a.m. Two engines, water tanker, brush truck and a rescue unit were dispatched to the scene.
Crews found the building engulfed in flames with the roof of the structure “completely collapsed,” according to a media release.
The blaze was quickly brought under control. Crews were still one scene as of 5 a.m. extinguishing the remaining hot spots.
No injuries were reported. A cause of the fire has not been determined.
