8:30 – The Wuhan coronavirus has reached Canada, with three people who recently visited the Wuhan area testing positive in B.C. The virus has so far claimed more than 130 lives, with nearly 6,000 confirmed cases in China and thousands more suspected cases. Many countries are restricting travel and issuing advisories to help contain its spread, but do we really need to be concerned? The event brings together depression/anxiety speakers and provincial mental health professionals and organizations to offer the public real-life experiences and coping strategies. Clint and Joanie will tell their story of surviving Clint’s suicide attempt. Clint joins Drew now to talk about the event, his book and his personal struggles with mental health.
