11:00 – A new book by Ian Ferguson is exploring some of the stranger things said by Justin Trudeau over the years. “Trudeau on Trudeau: The Deep Thoughts of Canada’s 23rd Prime Minister” paints a portrait of “a man who hasn’t quite got the hang of leading Canada.” It features memorable quotes such as “the budget will balance itself” and “we will grow the economy from the heart out,” along with many others. The book is available today, and author Ian Ferguson joins John now to discuss some of the stranger utterances of our current national leader.

12:00 – Rabbi Mendel Super, from Melbourne, Australia, and Rabbi Eli Citron, from New York, recently toured Saskatchewan as part of a program called “Roving Rabbis.” The pair met with Jews in a number of small centres where there is no Jewish infrastructure to meet the Jewish population, listen to their stories, “help them keep their Jewish flame burning,” and learn about the region’s Jewish history along the way. Rabbi Mendel Super joins John now to discuss his experience in Saskatchewan.
