Saskatoon police have charged a man after executing a search warrant in the Varsity View area on Thursday afternoon.
Officers, the K9 unit, tactical support and crisis negotiators converged on the home in the 300 block of Cumberland Avenue South, forcing the closure of the road between 14th and 15th streets for a few hours.
Detectives were investigating information that drugs, stolen property and firearms may have been inside the home.
As a result of the search, the 28-year-old man is charged with breaching conditions of a firearm prohibition order.
Saskatoon police did not specify what they found inside the home in an update Friday morning.
