11:00 – After years of hard work, Nature Saskatchewan has published their definitive guide for Saskatchewan birdwatchers. The 768-page book, “Birds of Saskatchewan” represents the culmination of more than a decade of work. Al Smith, himself an avid birdwatcher, was an editor on the project along with C. Stuart Houston and J. Frank Roy. Smith personally made some of the sightings that are included in the publication, and he joins John now to talk about the book and the growing popularity of birdwatching in the province.
