The tournament has raised over $30,000 for various charities and other causes throughout Saskatoon.
While some are busy searching for Boxing Day shopping deals, keen cleaners can already recycle their natural Christmas trees in Saskatoon.
Six drop-off locations opened Wednesday and will accept trees until Jan. 31:
In Regina, four drop-off locations will open Thursday and operate until Jan. 31:
In both Saskatoon and Regina, all decorations must be removed from the trees before they’re dropped off, and the trees must not be in disposable bags.
The recycled trees will be turned into compost and mulch.
