Saskatoon Police have arrested two people believed to be involved in a robbery Friday morning that left a store clerk injured.
Around 4:45 a.m. police say two men entered a convenience store on the 3300 block of 8th Street East, near Centre Mall.
One suspect hit the man working several times in the head and back while the other suspect threw the till drawer through the front window.
They got away with smokes and cash.
Around 4:20 p.m. Friday police issued an update saying officers had arrested two people believed to be involved.
Charges are pending as the police investigation continues.
