School zone speed limits are back in effect, but some drivers in Saskatoon are having a hard time adjusting to the lower speed limit.
On Tuesday, officers in the city issued 349 tickets in school zones, including 230 for speeding.
The worst offender was a driver going 91 km/h in the 30 km/h zone.
In a Twitter post Tuesday, the traffic unit said the person was also not wearing a seat belt and driver was fined nearly $1100 for both offenses.
The tweet went on to say officers would be back it Wednesday.
With this being the first week of school, police are ramping up enforcement in school zones across the province.
