Saskatoon’s Pride parade runs Saturday afternoon in the city’s downtown core.
The parade is scheduled to start at 1 p.m., with traffic restrictions in place along the entire parade route starting at 11 a.m.
Those taking part in the parade will gather at Kiwanis Park and make their way along Spadina Crescent before heading west on 24th Street, then south on Fourth Avenue.
The circuit will then take marchers west on 22nd Street, then south on First Avenue.
From there, the parade will head east on 20th Street before finishing up at the intersection of Third Avenue South and 19th Street.
Saskatoon Transit will adjust some of its routes between about noon and 2:30 p.m. to accomodate the parade.
Most stops will operate as normal out of the downtown terminal. However, stops for routes 6, 60, and 65 will be temporarily re-located to the southbound portion of Third Avenue north of 23rd Street.
Route 6 Broadway/City Centre and Route 1 Exhibition/City Centre buses will enter downtown via the University Bridge during the parade.
