Questions are being asked about Connor McGregor’s antics on Thursday night. Was this staged or for real?
McGregor has been charged with three counts of assault after throwing a dolly at a bus window that other UFC fighters were in at Barclays Centre after a media event leading up to UFC 223.
Today the footage of McGregor in handcuffs is all over social media and on television.
Many of you follow this far closer than me, but the story line appears to revolve around the fact that McGregor was stripped of the 155-pound championship this week by UFC President Dana White.
White called McGregor’s actions from Thursday “disgusting” and “criminal.”
We’ve heard trash talk in this sport before, so it’s hard to know if White is for real or just holding court.
I do know this: A lot of people are talking about the UFC, which at the end of the day, staged or real, is good for the UFC.
