Jan 27, 2018 | 4:53 PM
Premier Brad Wall took the podium at Prairieland Park on Saturday, delivering his final speech at the Sask. Party’s leadership convention to replace him.
He emphasized the need to combat sometimes “lethal” NDP positions which could return Saskatchewan to being a “wee” province instead of a “winner.”
His final words to his party faithful: “Hope wins here.”
Wall’s replacement will be announced through a ranked ballot process shortly after 6 p.m. CT. You can tune in to 650 CKOM and 980 CJME to hear live coverage of the leadership convention and results starting at 5 p.m.
