Down 5-2 heading into the third period, the Blades scored twice 1:15 apart to get within a goal. Swift Current sealed the win with an empty netter in the final seconds.
Chase Wouters, Braylon Shmyr, Libor Hajek and Michael Farren scored for Saskatoon. Ryan Kubic made 10 saves on 15 shots before being replaced by Joel Grzybowski in the third period.
