With the Thanksgiving holiday coming, the City of Saskatoon is reminding residents what services are running on Monday, and what’s open and closed.
Drivers are first being assured parking meters won’t require payment, though time limits will still be applied.
Buses will be running on their holiday schedules, while the transit customer service center will be closed. However, they will take calls between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Garbage and recycling pickup will continue on their regular schedule.
OPEN:
- Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo will operate on regular hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Public golf courses (Holiday Park, Silverwood and Wildwood) have regular hours of operation
- Landfill is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- East/West compost depots open with regular hours
- Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre, Lakewood Civic Centre and Shaw Centre are open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. with all fitness classes and child minding cancelled
- Lawson Civic Centre is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with cancelled fitness classes
- Saskatoon Field House is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a holiday fitness class from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
