The first pelican landed on the South Saskatchewan River between the Canadian Pacific Railway Bridge and the Saskatoon Weir on the night of April 9, 2025 around 10:05 pm. Folks in Saskatoon use the first pelican to land in the city as sign that summer is on the way. (650 CKOM)
