A 20-year-old man is facing several charges, including robbery, assault with a weapon and wearing a disguise, after an incident at a business in Moose Jaw on June 7.
Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) said in a news release on June 8 that officers were called to the business in the 500 block of First Avenue Northwest about 9:40 p.m. By the time they arrived, the suspect had already fled on foot, police said.
A search of the area found a man matching the suspect’s description, who had a bladed weapon, MJPS said
Police said the man entered the business brandishing a bladed weapon and attempted to assault someone.
The man is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Monday in Moose Jaw Provincial Court.
