Police and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are working to identify human remains found outside Saskatoon on Wednesday.
According to police, the remains were discovered off Highway 7, west of the city.

“Investigators secured the scene and began a coordinated investigation with forensic specialists and the Coroners Service,” police said in a statement.
“At this time, the identity of the deceased has not been confirmed. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the discovery, and whether foul play is involved.”
An autopsy will be scheduled as the investigation continues, police said.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation was asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.
