After a late-night fire, residents from two houses had to be rehomed after damage was done to both the interior and exterior of their homes.
Around 11:16 p.m., Saskatoon Fire saw “smoke and heavy flames coming from the roof of both houses.”

According to Saskatoon Fire, the flames originated from waste disposal bins and extended from the exterior, garnering severe damage.
Due to the extent of the damages, the cause of the fire could not be determined, said Fire in a news release.
However, the fire was determined to have started between 135 and 139 Boykowich Bend, where it extended from the exterior of the homes into the interiors.
135 Boykowich took the brunt of the damage, resulting in approximately $500,000 for exterior damages, while the other home accumulated $10,000.
No one was injured.
