RCMP officers are investigating a suspicious death on a Saskatchewan First Nation.
According a statement issued on Monday by the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers from the Loon Lake detachment received a report about a sudden death at a home on the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation on April 25.

A 34-year-old woman was declared dead at the scene, the RCMP said.
“Her family has been notified. We are not identifying her at this time,” the Mounties said in the statement.
The RCMP said her death was ruled suspicious, and Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes, along with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, are investigating.
Anyone with information that could help police was encouraged to contact the RCMP or make a report through Crime Stoppers.
