What’s open and closed in Saskatoon this Easter weekend

City of Saskatoon will have several adjusted civic services and hours of operation over Easter weekend.

CITY HALL

• Closed on Friday, April 18
• Closed Monday, April 21
• Reopens Tuesday, April 22 at 8 a.m.

REMAI MODERN

• Open Friday, April 18 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Closed Monday, April 21.

SASKATOON PUBLIC LIBRARY

• All locations will be closed on Friday, April 18.

SASKATOON TRANSIT

• Friday, April 18: Fixed-route transit will run holiday service hours from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (normal fares apply). OnDemand service not available. Access Transit will operate holiday service hours 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• Monday, April 21:  Access Transit will operate holiday service hours 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  Trips must be booked in advance as per normal procedures.
• Transit Customer Service Centre will be closed for walk-in customers on Friday, April 18, but phone lines (306-975-3100) will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

PAY PARKING

• Friday, April 18: Parking payment is not required.
• Monday, April 21: Parking payment will be required in City-managed pay parking areas.
• All other parking requirements remain in effect, including parking time limits.

MUNICIPAL IMPOUND LOT

• Friday, April 18: Vehicles will not be released to the public.
• Saturday, April 19 and Monday, April 21. Open 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

WASTE COLLECTIONS

• Garbage, recycling, and organics collections as scheduled.

MATERIAL RECOVERY CENTRE & LANDFILL

• Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21: Open 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

COMPOST DEPOT

• Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21: Open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Vehicles will not be admitted after 5:50 p.m. Compost and mulch loading closes at 5:30 p.m.

WOODLAWN CEMETERY

• Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21: Office closed. Grounds open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

SASKATOON FORESTRY FARM PARK & ZOO

• Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21: Zoo open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.,  Forestry Farm Park open 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

LEISURE CENTRES

• Cosmo Civic Centre: Closed Friday, April 18 and Monday April 21
• Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre: Closed for facility upgrade.
• Lakewood Civic Centre: Closed Friday, April 18, open Monday, April 21 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Lawson Civic Centre: Closed Friday, April 18, open Monday, April 21 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Saskatoon Field House: Friday, April 18 – Closed Friday, April 18, open Monday, April 21 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Shaw Centre: Closed Friday, April 18, open Monday, April 21 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Terry Fox Track: Closed Friday, April 18, open Monday, April 21 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
