A 22-year-old woman is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a man while he was inside his truck in a the parking lot of a Saskatoon hospital.
According to police, officers were called to Royal University Hospital, on Hospital Drive, at around 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

“Police learned that the suspect approached a man and woman as they were entering their truck in the hospital parking lot,” the Saskatoon Police Service explained in a statement.
“She partially entered the vehicle in an attempt to remove the male driver, but was forcefully removed by him.”
The woman made a second attempt to get into the truck, police said, but the man drove away before she could get inside.
“She was later detained by security officers, following a brief foot pursuit,” the police service said.
The woman was later arrested by police when they arrived, and taken to a detention cell. She’s now facing two charges of assault, along with additional charges of obstruction and mischief.
