A teenage boy has been charged in an animal cruelty investigation according to Deschambault Lake RCMP.
On Jan. 9, RCMP got a report of a teen boy seriously hurting a dog in Deschambault Lake, a community in northern Saskatchewan.
Officers found the dog dead later that day.

The teenager from Deschambault Lake was arrested and charged with one count of causing death to an animal.
His identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. RCMP is unable to provide more information as it may identify the teen.
