Officers were called to the back of a building in the 600 block of 20th Street West at around 9 a.m. on Thursday for a report of an injured person. When the officers arrived, they found a 39-year-old man with serious injuries. He was taken to Royal University Hospital for treatment.
Later on Thursday, police spoke to a 45-year-old man receiving treatment for serious injuries at St. Paul’s Hospital, and the police service said investigators believe he was involved in the same incident.
