An unoccupied RCMP vehicle in the northern community of Pelican Narrows was damaged by a gunshot, the federal police service says.
According to the RCMP, a window in the vehicle was broken by a single gunshot, and the damage was discovered just before 9 p.m. on Sunday. At the time, the vehicle was parked in the local RCMP detachment’s parking lot on Bear Street.

The Mounties said the incident is under investigation, and asked anyone with information to contact the Pelican Narrows RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
Pelican Narrows is located about 120 kilometres northwest of Creighton.
