Saskatoon’s golfing season has been extended to the end of October, as the warm fall weather continues.
Dave Phillips, senior climatologist with Environment Canada, said in a previous interview that he didn’t think nature “got the email” about the arrival of fall this year.
“September was warmer than June,” Phillips said. “That rarely is the case.”

Phillips added, “Last year we had the El Niño. We had one of the warmest winters on record, so it fits a pattern.”
