A teen boy is facing criminal charges after allegedly stabbing a man in Saskatoon’s Westmount neighbourhood on Wednesday.
According to police, officers were called to the 100 block of Leif Erickson Place at around 7:40 p.m. for a report of an injured person.

“Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from injuries consistent with a stab wound; he was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
Officers found and arrested the boy quickly after responding, the police service said, and he’s now facing assault charges.
