The Saskatoon Fire Department said nobody was injured after a duplex went up in flames on Sunday evening.
According to the fire department, they got a call about the fire on 33rd Street West in the city’s Westview neighbourhood just before 6:30 p.m.

When they arrived, firefighters spotted flames were coming from multiple windows of the duplex.
As crews worked to extinguish the fire, they went inside of the home to ensure nobody remained inside.
Both sides of the duplex showed significant damage on Monday morning, with soot and scorch marks on the siding and plywood covering up damaged doors and windows.
An investigation into the blaze has begun, in order to determine the cause of the fire as well as the extent of the damage.
