A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged with a Saskatoon murder from eight months ago.
A 33-year-old man was found early in the morning on December 14th on the 2700 block of 21st St. W. Police said he had been shot and was taken to hospital, but died a short time later. It was Saskatoon’s 11th murder of 2023.
Police didn’t release the victim’s name.
Now on Wednesday, Saskatoon police said officers arrested a 31-year-old man for the crime and charged him with first-degree murder.
Police had help from its Guns and Gangs Unit and the RCMP’s WEST team.
Saskatoon police also didn’t release the name of the man charged. He was expected to be in court Thursday morning.
