A 46-year-old man was arrested after police were dispatched to a break-and-enter in progress in the 2100 block of 17 Street West just after midnight on July 13.
Officers found multiple areas of the home damaged. In the news release, officers “attempted to detain him; however, the man did not comply with police orders. A K9 was deployed and assisted officers with apprehending the suspect.”

The man was treated in hospital for injuries consistent with a dog bite. Saskatoon Police Service said, “he was transported to detention and is facing charges relating to prowl at night, break and enter, and possession of a weapon.”
