The Guns & Gangs unit assisted Saskatoon police officers around 11:30 p.m. Friday after reports of an injured person in the 400 block of Kenderdine Road.
While they could not find the victim, they received details that a handgun was shown and pointed at the injured person.
Video evidence provided to police helped officers locate two suspect vehicles in a nearby parking lot in the 100 block of Nelson Road.
That’s where police executed a “high-risk” vehicle stop and found several firearms inside.
Seven people were taken into custody, and three 16-year-olds now face charges for firearms offenses.
Police continue to investigate and have not yet located the victim.
