Vianna Moberly appeared in provincial court Thursday morning charged with second degree murder.
The 20-year-old was remanded into custody until Jan. 4.
On Boxing Day, a woman’s body was discovered near Jonathon Avenue and Malouf Road, just west of Holiday Park Golf Course.
In a news release, police state both women knew each other, and that they believe the 2o-year-old victim died on Christmas Day.
According to court documents, the victim’s name is Tyla Whitebird.
