An assault at the high school on the Pelican Lake First Nation sent a teenaged boy to hospital Thursday.
According to the RCMP, officers from the Spiritwood detachment responded to the call at around 12:35 p.m.
At the scene, they found the injured boy, who was taken to hospital with injuries the RCMP said were “serious in nature.”
A second teenaged boy was taken into custody at the school. Charges weren’t laid, but the Mounties said the investigation was continuing.

The Pelican Lake First Nation is about 225 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
