A woman’s death in Saskatoon last week is no longer considered suspicious.
In a media release Monday, Saskatoon police said they had stopped investigating the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
On Friday at around 9 a.m., officers responded to a call about a dead person at a home in the 100 block of 111th Street West. When the officers arrived, they found the woman’s body.
Officers from the Major Crime and Forensic Identification sections started an investigation, but ended it after determining the death wasn’t suspicious in nature.
Police didn’t release the woman’s name, the cause of death or what prompted them to stop their investigation.
