A three-car crash on Highway 46 on Tuesday left a 30-year-old woman dead and three other people in hospital.
According to the RCMP, the collision happened Tuesday evening between Pilot Butte and Balgonie, just east of Regina.
The RCMP said the drivers of all three cars were taken to hospital with serious injuries, while the only passenger β the 30-year-old woman β was declared dead at the scene by paramedics. Her family has been informed of the death, police noted.
The highway was closed to traffic in both directions after the crash, but has since reopened.
βThe investigation is ongoing with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP Collision Analyst,β the Mounties said in a statement.
