Saskatoon police are asking for the public’s help to solve a historical homicide on its 19th anniversary.
On Aug. 23, 2004, officers responded at about 9:40 p.m., to a house in the 800 block of Avenue F North after getting a call that a person had been found dead.
An autopsy determined 46-year-old Delbert James Desjarlais had been stabbed to death.
Police haven’t identified a suspect in the killing. Investigators are again asking anyone with information on Desjarlais’ death to call police at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
